City Blocks was recently featured in the Selma News for our "Fixing Your Crown" event. Savannah Sabb from Action 8 News was the Mistress of Ceremony and guest speaker at our event.

“I wanted them to know that there were going to be moments where they’re going to doubt theirselves and feel like they weren’t enough,” said Sabb.

“The whole focus is to make sure that they understand that they have options and that they are in control of who they are,” said Dr. Rose Irby Wilkins with City Block Wellness Center.

“People need to learn, especially young ladies, how to conduct themselves in terms of, when something is happening and when they are stressed, there are options.”
